Fall
So I am really not someone who likes the cold, unless I am snowboarding or boating in the summer, but even then I don't like the cold, I just like the sports that come with it! I have to say the fall weather has been beautiful this year.It hasn't been long lived, but fun while it lasted. the boys love being outside so I try to let them run around out there as much as I can before it gets to dang cold here in Michigan. I just can't resist taking pictures of my boys outside in their cute hats and coats. They are happiest when they are outside which makes it even more enjoyable being out there, even if it is a little cold.

Pictures my boys will wish I never took!!
I just wanted to show off these dang cute Tutu's I made for my little nieces who live so close by. I can't take all the credit, I got this cute idea from this blog that I was told about that has all these cute ideas (http://treyandlucy.blogspot.com/).
Ayden is pretending to talk on the phone, a new thing the boys keep doing with everything!
I really need some girls, or my boys are going to be tortured through the years. I needed someone to model these cute tutus!!! The boys thought they were pretty funny, these will be some fun pictures to show there cute girlfriends some day! Then I heard that putting a bandanna on the boys hair will help their hair not to matte after they sleep, so we tried it one night after we washed their hair, It wasn't too successful. I worried before laying them down that it would fall off and possibly choke them. Gavin woke up crying that night and the bandanna was off his head when we went in to get him, my worries were still there, so I just took Ayden's off as well. You have to admit my kids look dang cute with their little bandanas, even if Ayden's was pink (poor little guy, we'll get him a more manly one).
This is Ayden's little fish face, Since the day he was born he has always made the funniest expressions.

The BIG 2....9!!!!!
Jordan had his birthday on Sunday, but he called last weekend his "Birthday Weekend". So even though I wasn't feeling well he wanted me to be at his beck and call!! No I am kidding, he was sad his family was sick and he was very helpful, but still always reminding me about his "Birthday Weekend"! He said he didn't want anything for his birthday this year, but come on, how sad would that be if you had nothing to look forward to. So I did get him a few gifts, but I compromised and even though they weren't the most exciting gifts they were mostly from the heart and affordable which is what Jordan likes! I made him a very Large blanket so he would finally have one that would cover his feet, and a picture frame with out family picture and a few pictures of the boys to put on his desk.
He did ask for three things though, he wanted an ice cream cake and Pan Pan, this chinese take out place that Jordan loves and I hate, so we don't get it to often. And finally he wanted his Grandma's spaghetti and meatball sauce. I know it's sad, but if I dont like something I don't make it, and meatballs aren't my favorite, there are just big globs of ground meat. I know there is a little more to them, but yuck! So with many phone calls I got the recipe and made it for him on his birthday! I have never made meatballs before so I was proud of myself. But it seemed like after the first night when we went to have left overs, the a lot of the meat balls disappeared, I must have done something wrong for them not to stay in tacked as well. Oh well, I learn with every new meal, maybe next time I'll do better. Theboys loved the meal so that was a plus as well!!
Hopefully he had a good day. He has been so busy with work, school, and family I know he feels overwhelmed at times. He is doing such a great job juggling it all and especially do a great job at making time for his family. It us apparent how much he loves us and wants to spend time with us, he is a great husband and tries so hard to help around the house even after a long day of work and school. Eventhough it took a lot of training on my part =) not to stop at the end of the day if things need to be done, he is doing an amazing job. He is so great with the boys. The other day I wanted to run down stairs and get some things done and he said he's watch the kids, they were crying and all of a sudden I heard nothing, and still nothing for quit sometime, I went up stairs to look and Jordan had things all under control. He was "baby proofing" our cupboards with Gavin on his lap and Ayden hanging out next to them (even if he was holding that nasty dust pan, only a man would give a child that =)). This picture does't do him justice, Gavin only started crying once he saw me, but really Gavin was doing great on his lap!

Happy Halloween!!!
Well this was the boys 2nd Halloween and it really was a great one. It was so fun to watch them walk around in their cute little costumes. Ayden was Tiger and Gavin was a scary 3 eyed monster! They got some good use out of them this year. They wore them to a ward Fall Festival and to a birthday party and then on Halloween.
We had a great time taking them trick or treating. They went with their cousin's Haven and Ellie who did a great job of showing them the ropes. Ayden wasn't to interested in walking to the door, but Gavin was was funny. He wanted us to hold him until he was at the part of the sidewalk that lead to the door way, then he wanted down and wanted to walk like all the other kids to the door, but if there was to much excitement at the door then he was ready to be picked up again. He did such a great job at holding his little basket almost the entire time. Now Gavin is also a little Mama's boy, whenever I am around he will be reaching for me, for the most part, it is rare that he is reaching for someone else. Out of the blue he started reaching for his Uncle Travis and when Jordan would try and take him away, he would cry, it was pretty funny. It was like that for the rest of the night on, Gavin made a best bud, it was cute.
For those of you who can't tell the difference, the left picture is Gavin with his buddy Uncle Travis
At the end of the night I decided after all their hard work of getting the candy it was only fair they got to have some, they were a mess!! Ayden is the messiest of them all, he had a glob of chocolate on his pants and sucker running all down his chest. Gavin had his fair share and got pretty messy as well. So they got to take a bath with their cousins and make an even bigger mess in the bathroom. That is pretty typical my with boys alone, I always make sure to have plenty of towels.
Travis and Kassie stayed over to watch the "scary" movie Jordan and Travis picked out and we had some pumpkin cookies and egg nog. I was really excited for the egg nog, but I caught the boys colds and couln't taste a thing, I was really distraught about it. We had a good time and I am sure each year to come will be even more fun as they get older. At the end of the night my sweet husband picked up and let me go to bed becuase I wasn't feeling well.
