Pioneer Day

So, I have a hard time not knowing what to expect.  Parades are a fairly new thing for us as far as it catching their attention.  We also had never been to the Pioneer Day parade in SLC and didn't know what to expect as far as finding a spot, what traffic would be like, etc.  This is one of those things I am glad we just got up and did, even though we weren't in the "know".  It started pretty early so we had to wake all of our kids up super early and throw them in the car and passed our Pop Tarts for breakfast! WE made sure to have our canopy this time, which was helpful, we brought the DVD player (for while we were waiting), food, a blanket to sit on...this time we were prepared.  It was great, there were a lot of fun floats for them to see and they still bring it up! We also got a spot right away, and it wasn't to shabby either!

Madagascar...my kids favorite movie!

Afterwards, since we were right by Temple Square, we thought we wuld make a morning of it and stop by for a walk, my kids love it there

The Gardens - July

There are 2 parts to "The Gardens" on is more scenic and has this huge waterfall with a whole bunch of little ones right above it and then a ton of gardens all around it, and then there is the kids Discovery Gardens.  We were so sad we didn't know about this at the beginning of the summer! It became one of our favorite places to go! It is so fun and beautiful!

Noah's Ark, the splash area

There are a few caves with this little tunnel in one of them.  It Easton a few times of watching the other three go through it, but it didn't take long until he joined in!

They put "boats" in this little stream and watch it go into a little pond, I think this is there favorite part of the gardens!
