Valentines Day!

Each year I am realizing they need less and less, next year will be even less!! I go around and look at all that looks good to me, and WOW, I get to much! this wasn't that bad, but still they could use less! We filled our morning up with sugar and then we spent the day at their favorite place the Zoo!

There is snow on the ground, but it was actually a really good, nice day to go!

We have started bringing quarters so we can feed the ducks, they love it!

My kids were all so pleasant and there weren't many people there, it was a really nice day we all had together!

Messy kids!

I swear I have the messiest babies ever, and kids at times! It really is embarrassing when we go to restaurants, which is one of the many reasons we don't eat out! I had to get a spaghetti picture, I have one of all my babies, but this isn't the worst of them, he is usually covered in food  and all over the floor, I am surprised any ends up in his mouth! He doesn't like me to feed him and as many times as I would have to get up by giving him little bit by little bit at a time isn't worth it with all my other kids making us get up and down, so a mess it is!

Dinner time!

Easton with his chapped cheeks! It was from rubbing snot across his face all day long then going outside in the windy cold! I tried to get it every time, but as often as it ran, it was impossible. I even tried telling him over and over again to get a wipe or tell me and I'll get it, but kids are kids!

Ava saying cheese with a bread stick in her mouth!

Cute spaghetti, toothy grin!

Gavin is my cleanest, love this face he gives

Carter really learned to use a sippy cup this month really well!

Another messy meal!

Some February Misc.

I am usually up all night with Carter, he has been having some ear issues and especially lately I have been up all night with a tossing and turning baby who takes over our bed and my arm! Jordan is a good man and usually lets me get a little bit of extra sleep in the morning, and really it is only a little bit, if I had my way I would sleep until noon! =)

This was a morning I was sleeping and Jordan decided to be proactive and go over shapes with the Ayden and Gavin, Ava and Easton Joined in as well.

Sad little Carter just wanted to be held, that is the difference between men and women, the guys just let them cry it out, the women pick them up, I know there are exceptions to the rule, simmer down!

Then Jordan told me he had them go around the house and find shapes and he took pictures of them doing it

This is the problem with being so behind, I don't remember details! But I do remember finding Easton like this and knowing one of the culprits was Gavin! I think the other one was Ava, but i am not 100% on that one!

One of the Culprits himself..

He was covered head to toe, stomach to back in pen!

This was a big projec for us this month...we went from this play set...

To this...

We had been looking all summer last year for a good one, and we couldn't find one that would fit all of our kids.  Since they are all so close in age they are really for the most part interested in the same thing, and it is alot of work telling 3 kids on a 2 person swing set to hold on, so we went with the first one until we found one we liked better.  I LOVED Jordan's Grandma's it was perfect for my kids, so when I found this one on craigslist that was just like hers, but a little newer, we couldn't pass it up! We had to wait until it was warmer to start stainging it, so Jordan has recently stained most of it, we ran out, so he is in the process of finishing it up, but with a new coat of stain it looks good as new! Our kids love it and we have been very happy with it! It was worth all the work Jordan put in to take it apart, bring it here, and then set it up again, I am sure he agrees, but never wants to do it again! =)

Children's Meuseum

My parents came down to visit and we were wanting to get out of the house, so we decided to try out the children's museum at the gateway.  It was so much more than I expected and our kids LOVED it!!  It was a full house that day so I was glad we had so many helpers to keep track of our kids becasue they were all in a different direction.  Ava and Easton loved the little house and the of course, the fully loaded kitchen was their favorite! Ayden was in truck/construction heaven in the construction area and all he talked about when he got home was the helicopter that is on the roof, he loved it, Gavin  loved the water an playing with the turtle and other little toys in it, and they ALL loved the grocery store to play in! Carter did a good job and was pretty content the whole time, It was a fun day.

Later that day when we got home Ava was dancing with the kinect dance game and my cute mom joined in to dance with her to the lollipop song!
