March misc.

I am not the best mom at celebrating all the holidays of the year, but For St. Patrick's Day this year we made green chocolate covered strawberries, my kids love these, but who wouldn't! Ava and Ayden were watching the whole way through, and Easton enjoyed eating just the chocolate off the strawberry and leaving the strawberry for someone else, but everyone else did a good job of eating the whole thing,  and they sure did finish them all off!

A little hard to see, but Carter got hives or lesions, whatvere they were they were terrible!! It  made these huge awful bruises on his legs I think it was because I noticed them after putting him in a warm bath, which can cause them to get worse! He had had an ear infection that would not go away and he had been on 3 rounds of antibiotics.  The day he got them he had also grabbed a sandwich with a big glob of peanut butter and eaten it.  So they conclusion was, he was either allergic to the PB or it was from being ont he antibiotics for so long, or he was allergic to amoxicillan.
So, this was in March, I am posting this in June, and let me tell you it was none of the above! He since has had both and is fine, they think it was just a virus he caught on top of the ear infection that was causing it.

Our families favorite snack, homemade cookies...yum! Hot and fresh out of the oven is my favorite so Jordan and I now make a batch, cook what we are going to eat and put the rest in the fridge for another day so we can enjoy them hot every time we eat them!

Ayden and Gavin started T-ball this month as well, they were excited and a little nervous, but i was proud at how well they adjusted there first day of practice.  I left with my friend who was in town a little early and Jordan came and took over the last few minutes of practice and I heard later that there were some big melt downs because I left, oops!

I turned 30!!

Wow I never thought this day would come so quickly!! I don't really know 10 years ago how I would have imagined my life when I turned 30, but I don't think I would have imagined it this great! I have such a loving, supportive husband who is so great with his children and tries his best to support us.  My children are all still young and a bit challenging at times, but theya re each individually great children with such big little hearts and they love each other so much.  The other day Ayden said to a kid he had met at the play area at Ikea when we ment up with them again at the food court, "Hey, say Hi to my Ava, this is my Ava, say Hi".  And then he said, "Hey look, this is my baby, do you see my baby, this is my baby".  He had done things like this before, it is very cute.  I told Jordan about it and he said jokingly, "Oh a little possessive", but it is true together they fight, but anyone else messes with them and they are all over that! Ayden is definitely my hardest and busiest child, but he is also one of my most loving, but they all are very loving and love to cuddle and be held and babied a little.  They are all my children, I was definitely like that as a child and still am today, a very needy, affectionate person for sure!

So, The greatest part about my birthday was it was on a Saturday! That was all I needed, to have a birthday that my husband was home for! So we spent the day doing what our kids love doing the most, going to the Zoo.  I even ran into  my cousins from Pocatello that I hadn't seen in a while on this day.  We reallty have a good time and our children just can't get enough of the animals!

When we first started coming to this zoo these baby lemurs had just been born, it has been fun to see them every time we come see how big they have become each time

You may notice a sad little girl in this picture! We were feeding the ducks and all of a sudden we turned around and Ava was gone! We were looking every where and seriously minutes seem like forever in these situations, we found her on the snake slide.  She was sad becasue she got in trouble and she had to leave the snake slide. I have to say, when I am alone at the zoo, they don't play in the play area for long at all, seriously, they only get minutes, it is to hard for me to keep track of them they way it is set up!

We came home and had our family favorite, Chinese food (I seriously never thought I would say that, I never liked it much before Jordan),  played outside for a little bit ...

And finished off with some Chocoalte ice cream cake! It was a good day!
