April Misc.- such good memories!

I really like blogging, even though I am not as on top of it as I would like to be.  It is fun to go back and look through the memories of our photos and to be reminded of how good life really is!

This was Ava's first dance recital.  It was kind of a practice one for them at a retirement center. She did such a good job, she has no fear! She loved putting on the make-up and she always tells me she wants to be the bunny again so she can put it on.

This was a picture of her 2nd one she had at the end of the month.  She had one more in june, but she got her trophy at this one, she was so proud.  After all her pratices and recitals, they gave them a little candy. Well, I am writting this in July and she has recently started at a different dance school (it's closer!) and they don't hand out candy, and she came out saying "Where's my candy, I want some!"

Our neighborhood had a flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. It was late and cold, so I just went with Ayden and Gavin, they had a lot of fun, but they were freezing! I must say, leaving our house it really wasn't that cold, I almost didn't even bring coats, but I am always cold, so I brought some just in case, I am glad I did.  I promise, they would not have been wearing flip flops if I thought it was as cold as it was!

This is Gavin looking like he is going to pee his pants, but no, he is just REALLY COLD!

This was just so funny, how could I not get a picture!

Ayden and Gavin had their first T-Ball game  4/16, I was so proud at how well they did and how fast they got use to it, if anyone knows these two, they do not adapt to change well!

It was tricky this spring with T-ball and dance for Ava.  The boys had 2 games a week and one of them was at the same time as Ava's dance 5:30, they worst time ever! I had to have dinner all ready to eat at 4:30 and my kids take their time so it was never gone.  It was always a fast meal on those days, like nuggets, corn dogs or taquitos, it killed me how long it took them to eat that! Jordan had to leave early and race home with just enough time for him to take the boys to their game and me to get Ava to dance at least 5 minutes late every time!

We also potty trained Ava a few months ago, but she started having accidents more often again, so after trying many things we tried a potty chart again, and it worked! We had tinker bell stickers that she loved, and she made sure she covered every bit of that chart! Worked like a charm!

Boise Trip- April

This was Easter weekend and it was packed full!
We had 2 baptisms, a family easter egg hunt and dinner at Chuck O Rama's!
I have more pictuers of the first baptism because my sister was borrowing my camera, but they were both wonderful and we were grateful to live close by so we could go! My little brother spoke at my nephew Adam's baptism, and I have to say, I had a moment.  I was so proud of him and the talk he gave, and it was just a reminder to me that even though we are all different, and very opinionated, we are all very close and I am so grateful for all of my family members!

We then headed over to Brett's and did a family Easter Egg Hunt.  The younger kids did one, we each had 12 candy filled eggs for each kid and the kids were allowed to find 12 so they all had the same amount, it was a good way to keep it fair! Then we had one for the older kids, their eggs had $.  The catch was they had to pair up and then have one of each of their legs tied together.  Then at the end the pair opened their eggs and split the money, it was fun to watch!

This would be an every day messy face of Easton's, except since he was eating Easter candy it was more colorful!

We haven't had a sister picture in awhile! I love my sisters!

This was our attempt at getting a family picture while we were there and this was the best we could do!

The next morning we watched the kids go on another Easter Egg Hunt from the Easter Bunny and then watched them check out their Easter baskets at Michelle's house.  It was a a fun weekend of way to much candy!! My kids hardly ever get candy like this so they were in Candy Heaven!

A visit from Aunt Stina

Christina has been my good friend since we lived in California in 2005.  She is one of those friends that I will never lose touch with!  She has come to visit our family quit a few times and this is one of the many times she came down for a visit.  My kids get to know her better each visit and this time, they sure do remember their Aunt Stina!

This was a fun, but long day, but well worth it.  The City Creek mall opened on this day so we thought we would take a drive down to SLC and visit Jordan at work, see temple square, we took a shortened tour of the conference center and walked around the city creek mall for a little bit.  Poor Christina, the mall visit seemed purely for the kids.  They had;a few people making balloon figures and we waited in line for that, there were children entertainer's there singing songs and putting on a show, and then we went to the play area!! The life of having kids, it's all about them!

Fun at the free Photo Booth!

This was our visit to the Dinosaur museum, my kids love it here! Thanks Stina =)

This was towards the end of her visit, my sister's family stopped by for a visit and we went to the zoo
