Pioneer Day

So, I have a hard time not knowing what to expect.  Parades are a fairly new thing for us as far as it catching their attention.  We also had never been to the Pioneer Day parade in SLC and didn't know what to expect as far as finding a spot, what traffic would be like, etc.  This is one of those things I am glad we just got up and did, even though we weren't in the "know".  It started pretty early so we had to wake all of our kids up super early and throw them in the car and passed our Pop Tarts for breakfast! WE made sure to have our canopy this time, which was helpful, we brought the DVD player (for while we were waiting), food, a blanket to sit on...this time we were prepared.  It was great, there were a lot of fun floats for them to see and they still bring it up! We also got a spot right away, and it wasn't to shabby either!

Madagascar...my kids favorite movie!

Afterwards, since we were right by Temple Square, we thought we wuld make a morning of it and stop by for a walk, my kids love it there
