Bear Lake
I have got to say that this was such an enjoyable trip!! I had really just been wanting to go out, and it is hard to think of a trip that is affordable, all the kids will love, is enjoyable to us, and not more exhausting than life already is!! This was just what we needed!
It was really fun going as a family and being the "matriarch" to do all the shopping for the food and get everything together. I know that sounds funny, but we have actually never gone on a trip with just us, so it was fun to finally do that!
The drive up was a disaster! What was meant to be like a 3 hour drive turned into 5 or 6!! Part of that was stopping in the town before to get food, so that doesn't count, but the kicker was I brought my pump and forgot the parts! There were no stores around to get them, which we found after a couple of stops and a few phone calls. But we ended up stopping by a hospital and got some which worked out great! We were afraid we were going to have to turn around, but the rest of the trip went much smoother!
We stayed in Jordan's Grandma's Condo which was perfect! I think there are 4 rooms there, but we used two. I slept with Easton and Carter in one room and Jordan slept with the other 3 in another room. Ava is the one we worry about. She could go with no sleep and be just fine, she is a night owl! Jordan said she would wake up in the middle of the night and start walking around and it was dark so she was walking all over the boys who were on the ground in their sleeping bags, I am hoping that sleep wise things will get better, in maybe a year with traveling?!
The condo had the beach in the backyard along with a heated pool with a toddler pool right next to it, and a really great play ground between them! We spent the entire time outside going from one to the other! I am so excited for the next time we get to go!! It was a perfect trip for our family!

The Beach
Jordan did a good job playing with the kids on the beach while I sat with little Carter watching everyone
Carter was a little champ and did pretty well as long as I sat by him and when he was tired it was nice that I could walk right back to the condo to lay him down
Gavin was excited about collecting sea shells
Looking for the perfect spot for a sand castle....
Right in front of them was a good spot =)....now it's time to get started!
I seriously don't know what he is doing here, but kinda funny!
This is a cute picture of Gavin! He brought his sea animals and had so much fun playing with them in the sand; that, and collecting the sea shells..he could have sat there all day!
Jordan took this picture to show me how far Easton kept taking off. He loved walking up and down the beach. He also loved walking in the water, we really had to watch him so he wouldn't go in to far
I almost passed over this picture then noticed a little head poking out... I think it's Ayden
The playground
The pool
Even though we didn't get the famous raspberry shake, we definitely had to get shakes while we were there!
This picture cracks me up!
Easton was super tired and a little grumpy on this night, but he did pretty well with not much sleep for a boy who really loves his sleep! We had some long days there, but they sure were fun!
