Carter is a sweet little baby. He started smiling on June 3rd and hasn't stopped!! His first month he was pretty crabby. He has acid reflux like Easton did, but since we have already gone through it once, it has been easier to deal with this time. Once we got him situated on the right medicine and a routine with all the kids, things have become much better. Carter had a fussy period starting at 6:30 and didn't stop until 9, right smack in the middle of the time we are winding down with the other kids and getting them to bed. All I can say is it makes me even more grateful for have Jordan done with school and home and nights!! But into this second month, he has become much better. He is always kind of wiggly and fickle about wanting to eat or acting hungry between the hours of 4 am and 7:30 am which has made me a little grumpy. He will eat for a few minutes then falls asleep and impossible to wake up, and if I do wake him up he is even grumpier and harder to get back to sleep. I have tried to just not feed him, but it's the same, he wakes up frequently between that time no matter what I do. That is getting a little better though. He for the most part will let us put him in the swing to rock him to sleep at about 8 or 8:30 and we can lay him in bed around 9 or anytime after that and most of the time will sleep until about 3 or 4 which is great! He isn't quit as fussy at night any more and he is smiling a lot more. He coos when you talk to him, and like my other children likes to be held ALL day long!!

He is such a sweet little boy and is growing so well and so fast!! It is definitely an adjustment to our family having a 5th child, but we could not imagine our home with out this sweet little boy.
