Jordan got free tickets from work to see some races. The moment they got there Gavin screamed because the cars were to loud and for the most part never stopped! Ayden was nervous, but did pretty good, he loves cars and trucks and we knew he would be excited to see these.
The last time they boys went out with their Dad, they went to a movie. Both of the boys freaked out because of the size of the screen and again it was to loud. Gavin finally settled down and loved it and did awesome, Ayden calmed down, but was restless because it was to long for him to sit down.
I have a friend who is a fire fighter and he said I could bring the boys down to check out all the trucks and even go for a ride in the fire truck. Ayden LOVED it and checked out all the trucks as many times as he could, Gavin cried and whined the whole time and made me carry him in and out of the trucks and every where else.
Lesson learned: Although they are twins, they are two very different little boys. Gavin enjoys books, movies and calmer activities. Ayden loves trucks, cars, riding his bike and anything that keeps him moving! Next time we decide to take them to events or activities we better take them if it is applicable to their personality so the other can enjoy it!
