October

Misc. October pics

My boys do a lot of playing in their rooms when it comes to bed and nap time. I walked in on this one day when they were supposed to be taking a nap, how could I be mad at this?!

This picture speaks for itself!! It is how our day starts..Tired!

Emalee Montini and our kids. Emalee and her twin sister Ashley have been so great with our kids, they were the only teenagers that we let watch our kids, we love them!

Easton after eating some yummy donuts at the cider mill, we are going to miss those!

Dinner at our house

The fire department down the road had a little show-and-tell going on for kids, letting them shoot the fire hose, and sit in the fire trucks and ambulances and some other misc. things going. Jordan had some things he needed to do for school, so I almost didn't go, but Ayden loves fire trucks and we went for the last part, which was perfect. Things that go on to long are hard for my kids when they have to be restricted. Ava and Easton both just wanted to get down and run around in the crowd of people. The boys were timid at first to get in the cars, but after watching all the kids get in and out they decided they would try. Gavin was awesome and would pose for all the pictures!

Easton turned one!!!

His cousins came over to celebrate!

I wish I had the time and talent, but I did not make his cupcake cake
Gavin did a great job of making sure Easton didn't touch the candle. When we gave Easton his cake he was very careful using his fork, but then he realized it was ok to just dig in!

I saw on a someones blog a few years ago an idea of spray painting pumpkins in chalk board pain and letting the kids decorate their pumpkins that way, so I got the paint, and just never did it. Instead they painted them and enjoyed that just the same! Ava wasn't interested, she just wanted to take her clothes off like everyone else.

The end product

Spaghetti and meatball Dinner!

Our Lion...

"Tiger"....

And Bear, oh my...

And our scary Monster princess!!

Ok, so we didn't do the "Lion, tiger and bear" thing on purpose and didn't even realize it until people started making comments, so we really weren't that creative. Ava was supposed to be a fairy princess, but she loved the monster costume, so we decided to just combine them!! We loved it!

Ayden must have been really tired or something because this is what his face looked like the entire night, or at least a lot of it!! Good thing Gavin stepped up to the plate and let Ayden sit in the wagon the whole time while he walked! Easton wanted to be held the entire time and did great in my arms with a sucker to keep him busy!

Happy Halloween, a few months late!
