More and More Blankets!!
Here are the blankets I have done this last month. There are so many because one friend had triplets!! I love these blankets, but I hate them. They get done a lot quicker than the rag quilts, even though if you have the time you can do a rag quilt in a day or two, I don't have the time(at least to do this many in one month). But in these blankets you can see the mistakes a lot easier than in the rag quilts. I am telling you I love sewing, but man, I don't have the patience for it. It took me this many quilts, plus the two I partially did for my boys to figure out what I was doing wrong in one area of the quilt, which has now made it A LOT easier to sew them. I don't have the patience to figure it outwith the first blanket so I just keep going. I must be doing something right, Jordan is asking when I am going to make his, I'll be sure to make it a "Man's Blanket"!

My observant little boy
So I wanted to post this really funny story that happened the other day with Gavin. We have these people come over called "Early On" which is a free government service in which they just come over and work with your children to make sure they are developing correctly. We thought it was a nice thing to take advantage of. Wel,l the lady was working with Gavin and she had these 2 cups. She would hold a car in front of him and put it under a cup she would pull it out show it to him and put it under another cup and do this a couple times. She made sure to show him the car each time before she put it under the cup. Then he had to find where the car was. he got it every time. She then uped it to 3 cups and he was so funny. She mixed up the car, showing it to him every time then gave him the chance to find where it was. He pointed towards one and almost picked it up, then backed his hand away and thought about it (you could tell he was thinking) and then he almost picked up another one, brought his had back and continued to think, then the little stinker finally picked up the correct cup with the car underneath, it was so cute. You could tell he was so proud of himself. He has always been my little observant child and I couldn't help but laugh for the rest of the day every time I thought about it, it was so cute to watch. When it was Ayden's turn he was just so anxious to get the cups becuase I had been holding him back from them while Gavin was using them. All he wanted was to do was grab the cups and bang them together, he was to busy to even want to watch her move the cups around.

Our boys finally turned ONE!! (on Sept. 12)
I can't believe it has already been a year!! Well it was on Sept 12, this post is a little late. Time really has flown by.We love our little boys so much!! Here are a few of their milestone pictures.

The boys have really started to love balls! So we found this little playland ball pit that we really thought they would enjoy. Jordan wanted to make sure he saw them in it for the first time so we didn't set it up until he got home, they had a lot of fun in it. Ayden is really funny he will run into the balls and through his body on top of all the balls over and over and has the cutest giggle. When you rile Gavin up he copies you and does a little yell while tossing the balls around with his arms suprisingly he is not as wild as Ayden has been lately. Yesterday they were so cute. I was trying to sew and we had confrence on so we wern't being as attentive as they wanted us to be with them. All I know is I looked over and they had moved some toys into the playland and they were just holding the balls and playing so well with each other it was really cute. They play well, but usually have to have us by there side so it was really a great thing for us to see!! Ayden is really funny he will run into the

We also gave them cupcakes so they could just dig in. Ayden liked it, but Gavin didn't like the chocolate frosting, but he liked the cupcake plain.

The next day we had a little party for them. we had some friends and their kids come over. I know some people go all out (my sisters) but I figured the kids could play and it was a good excuse for the adults to get together. We were going to have the sprinklers and a few blow up pools set up in the backyard and do an outside thing, but it was raining pretty hard that day, it was to bad, I know the boys would have liked that. It was a lot of fun and hopefully the boys had a good day!

Utah Continued.....
Ok so our journey in Utah continues, but it's almost over. After the Sealing first things first, we had a bridal shower for Kristen seeing how she was going to be getting married as soon as we got back from Bear Lake. So we had a little fun, come on, she has no sisters, so the sister-in-laws had to stir up some fun!! We got some fun gifts is all I will say!!

I didn't show the best picture because I know Kristen would be ticked and I have to keep some kind of peace with the in-laws, but come on, you have to laugh, our gifts were pretty funny...they consisted of a bondage kit, 350 best sex tips, tasteful lotion, a saran rap bra and undies, and we couldn't forget something for the handsome groom, we got him some nice candy link thong underwear. Now we had to be cleaver on how we gave her the gifts, if they were all in one box she would just peek and shut the box never to really get a good laugh and see all that was in it. We signed one using a friend's name, who we knew lived out of the area and would not be there, we got her dad to sign a piece of paper that said "love Dad" and taped it to the box (it was the grooms undies) and we also had one signed from "The brothers" - that is what Ben (Jordan's younger brother) calls all the older brothers. We thought we were pretty dang funny. Kassie was also a great sport in wearing the fancy bra in the pic, I warned her this is what happens when you start living close to me! We also got her something we hope she would actually use, it was really tasteful lingerie, we even had the approval from her mom on that, she even liked it.
We then headed out to Bear lake for a few days of jet skiing, and boating. It was really a lot of fun. It's nice to be close to the water, the boys did really well. There was a cute little play ground area for the kids to play, my boys really just tried hard to climb or even just stand, but it was still fun to go over there, Ellie came and kept us busy at the play ground. It was small quarters and Stephen's (Kristen's fiance) first time with the "Smith's" so it was great to get to know him and spend time with all of Jordan's family. Here are some pics of our trip.

Ayden started standing by himself really well and when we got back to Bountiful he started taking his first steps I have a few clips mostly of Ayden and a few of Gavin taking steps, Gavin wasn't as interested at the time. We had a great time in Bountiful as well spending time with Jordan's Grandma. This was the first time she was able to meet the boys and what a joy it was to watch her with them.

Now my Last blog of this trip is Kristen's wedding, but I am still waiting on pictures so that one will be later.
These are not from us...
